NavDash: NWA – A Real-World Driving Challenge

Think of it as a mix of a road rally and a logistical strategy game where you decide your route in real-time to score the most points.

What is a NavDash?

NavDash is an interactive adventure that transforms the region into a game of strategy. Participants locate 50+ hidden checkpoints spread within a 40-mile radius, plan efficient routes in real-time, and compete for a spot on the leaderboard.

The Objective: Collect the most points in exactly 1.5 hours. Points increase the further a location is from the starting point, so strategic planning is essential!

Event Rules & Guidelines

Verification: You must take a selfie at every checkpoint (include everyone in your vehicle). These are shared live to build a social connection between players!
Safety First: You must follow all traffic laws and speed limits. Victory is earned through smart routing and logistics, not speed.
Connectivity: The WayHopper app requires a stable connection. If you encounter poor signal, skipping that location is advised. You can also use local Wi-Fi if available.
Tech Troubleshooting: If your GPS drifts, cycle Airplane Mode On/Off and restart the app to reset your signal.
Pro Tips:
- Bring a backup battery source for your phone.
- A co-driver is highly recommended to manage navigation while you drive.
- Analyze the point values on the map before you begin to optimize your route.

11:00 AM	Start: Challenge goes live! Note: Your first check-in must occur at Blacktop Sunday to be eligible for prizes.
12:30 PM	Cutoff: Game concludes; check-ins close automatically.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM	Awards & Social: Head to Uptown Kitchen + Taphouse for results and lunch!
