FEATURE 03 · TICKETING

Sell tickets. Hand out keycodes. Print when you need to.

Set ticket price and capacity, open a registration window, generate keycodes before publish, print materials, and collect waivers—so players can join in the app or on the web.

TICKETS KEYCODES MATERIALS
Entry you control

From free joins to paid capacity caps.

Participants buy in the WayHopper app or on the public event page. You decide print vs digital fulfillment.

Paid & free events

Set a ticket price for participant-pay events, or run free events without charging players.

Participant limit

Cap how many tickets or participants the event accepts.

Keycodes & export

Generate codes in batches, export to Excel, and let purchase fulfillment consume codes automatically.

Waivers & flyers

Attach waiver/agreement text and generate event flyers for sharing online or offline.

Publish checklist

What to finish before go-live.

Typical participant-pay events need keycodes generated before publish.

01

Set price and window

Configure ticket price and optional registration start/end.

02

Generate keycodes

Required before publish on typical participant-pay events—not for free events.

03

Choose print mode

Print Ticket = Yes for printable PDFs; No for digital keycode fulfillment.

04

Share the public page

Players can buy on the web even if they download the app later for check-in.

In the app

Players see this on their phones.

Day-of play lives in the WayHopper participant app. Share the player view with your riders and hunters.

FAQ

Ticketing questions.

More in the full FAQ, or book a walkthrough with our team.

Can participants buy without the app?

Yes. Public event pages support web ticket checkout. Day-of QR check-in still uses the mobile app.

Do free events need keycodes?

No. Keycode generation is a publish requirement for typical participant-pay events.

Printable vs digital?

Print Ticket = Yes for physical/will-call style PDFs. Print Ticket = No assigns digital keycodes on purchase/fulfillment.

Can I control when sales are open?

Yes—set a ticket registration start and end when you need a sales window.
