Do students need to download an app?
For day-of QR + GPS check-in, yes—the iOS/Android WayHopper app is the home for play. The app supports offline check-ins when signal drops. Students can still browse events and register on the web.
Can clubs manage their own stops at the org fair?
On supported open events, invite clubs through the Location Entry Portal to add stops under your limits and approvals. Student life keeps control of the overall route.
Does this work for high schools and community colleges?
Yes. Smaller cohorts use the same templates — orientation hunts, campus tours, and club crawls scale from 200-student private schools to 5,000-seat state universities.
Can we collect signed waivers?
Yes. Add waiver text when you create the event and download signed waiver PDFs per participant from the organizer portal—useful for adventure courses and liability-heavy activities.
Can we moderate photos from welcome-week hunts?
Yes. Require, allow, or disable photos per stop, and approve submissions before they appear in public galleries when auto-approval is off.
Can welcome week be free to join?
Yes. Choose the free event payment model so students join without buying a ticket, or sell registration through Stripe when you need capped capacity.
