PHOTOS BADGES PRIVACY
What you can do

Memories and milestones, on your terms.

Some stops require a photo; others make it optional. Organizers may approve photos before they appear in public galleries.

Check-in photos

Upload during or after check-in. Required stops block progress until you add a photo when the organizer configured that rule.

Earn badges

Complete locations that have badges enabled. Unlock prompts can appear as part of a successful check-in.

Share when you want

Badges include share text/image payloads for social posting. Share event, results, and media links too.

Privacy controls

Hide a photo from your public profile, unhide later, or soft-delete your own upload.

Where things appear

App, galleries, and public pages.

01

In your lists

See your photos and badges grouped by event in the app and participant web portal.

02

On the event

Approved photos can appear in event media views and public galleries or slideshows.

03

After approval

Organizers may moderate before public display; some events auto-approve.

04

Share links

Send friends a badge share payload, media link, or public results page—even if they do not have the app.

FAQ

Photo & badge questions.

More answers in the full FAQ, or talk to the event organizer.

Who can see my photos?

Visibility depends on your privacy actions, organizer approval settings, and whether the event uses auto-approval.

Can organizers approve my photos?

Yes. Moderated events review photos before public/event media. That is normal.

How do I earn badges?

Successfully check in at locations where the organizer enabled badges.

Can I remove a photo later?

Yes—you can hide photos from your public profile or soft-delete your own uploads.
