SCORINGHow do card stops work?
Assign locations as card stops on your route. Riders check in with QR + GPS; WayHopper draws a card into their hand and tracks progress—no paper scorecards.
Do riders need to download an app?
For day-of QR + GPS check-in, yes—the iOS/Android WayHopper app is the home for play. Riders can still browse events and buy tickets on the web. The app supports offline check-ins when signal drops—they finish the stop once they’re back online.
Can I force stop order or run multiple legs?
Yes. Classic poker can enforce a forced sequence so riders hit stops in order. Poker-run style events support multi-leg routes when you need more than one loop under a parent event.
Can riders improve a hand?
When you allow it, riders can improve a hand with a paid extra card or an extra-card keycode. Hand history shows what they kept and what they discarded.
How do results close?
Announce results when you’re ready, or rely on platform auto-close after the event end time. Rankings and hand history stay available for riders and your club.
What if a rider can’t finish every stop?
Their partial hand is recorded with the cards they did draw. They will be marked DNF. Their hand reflects the cards they did draw. You monitor check-ins from the organizer portal and close or announce results when the run is done.
